BENTON — Paul Gordon, 88, of Benton died Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Oakview Manor Healthcare Center in Calvert City.

Mr. Gordon was a member of the U.S. Army and served during World War II.

He was retired from Chrysler Corporation and was a member of Union Ridge Baptist Church.

Surviving are wife, Bobbie Powell Gordon; two sons, Edward Gordon of Detroit and Greg Gordon of Benton; a daughter, Paula Davis of Benton; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. His parents were Jimmy Gordon and Luluar Hughes Gordon.

Service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012, at Collier Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tim Cole officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012, at in Union Ridge Cemetery in Aurora.
