MURRAY — James Franklin Andrus, 84, of Murray died Tuesday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

He was a retired truck driver for PTL, a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ and an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Lovett Andrus; three sons, Ken Andrus, Joey Andrus and Jeff Andrus, all of Murray; one sister, Peggy Mills of Hardin; one brother, Leon Andrus of Hardin; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

His parents were James Mitchell and Velma P. Cornwell Andrus.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale and Jason Hart officiating, and burial will  be in Union Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
