Joann Waid, 77, of Paducah died at 4:20 a.m. Monday at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by one son, Brian Waid of Paducah; one daughter, Connie Holley of Paducah; one brother, Howard “Butch” Turner of Adams, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Chris Droge, Taylor Holley, and Jacob Brian Waid, and one great-grandchild.

Her parents were Leonard Turner and Ruth (Phillips) Turner.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Wickliffe City Cemetery with Joel Jackson officiating. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Thursday at Hughes Funeral Home.
