MAYFIELD — Mary Emma Starks, 82, of Mayfield died at 8:23 a.m. Sunday at her daughter’s home in Paducah.

She is survived by five daughters, Teresa Hockett and Shirley Randle, both of Mayfield, Terrie Hamilton, Katie Starks and Michelle Starks, all of Paducah; four sons, Edward and Leonard Starks, both of Mayfield, William “Bill” Starks of Cadiz, and Val Keith Starks of Paducah; one sister, Georgia Ridgeway of Milwaukee, Wis.; 47 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Wallace Starks; two sons, Joe and Wallace Starks, and three daughters, Betty Starks, Violette Starks and Gloria West. Her parents were Oma and Lillie Rhybon Ridgeway.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home with Gregg Hussey officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Valley Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
