CALVERT CITY — Margaret Sue Smith, 85, of Calvert City died at 9:20 p.m. Friday at Western Baptist Hospital.

She was a member of Calvert City Methodist Church and retired as a dental assistant for Dr. Richard Cocke in Calvert City.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Davis of Gilbertsville and Susan Hutchens of Marlette, Mich,; one sister, Virginia Morris of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Don James of Louisville; and five grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Govie E. Smith; a son, James E. Smith; and four brothers. Her parents were Roy and Eva Cobb James.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvert City Methodist Church with the Rev. Eddie Bromley officiating. Burial will be at Calvert City Cemetery.
