MURRAY — Donna Kaye Humphrey Thurmond, 69, of Murray died Saturday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

She worked at Murray Wal-Mart Super Center before retiring.

She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Bevil and Tina Hodges, both of Murray; one son, Dennis Thurmond of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one sister, Diane Butler of Paducah; four brothers, Ronnie Humphrey of Benton, Rexie Dale Humphrey of Kirksey, Carlis Humphrey of Possum Trot, and Michael Humphrey of Marshall County; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edd “Hamburger” Michael Thurmond; and three brothers.

Her parents were Rex Humphrey and Ruby Rule Humphrey.

Services will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Murray City Cemetery with the Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
