URBANDALE, Ill. — Dorothy R. Conroy, 80, of Urbandale died Thursday at Daystar Care Center in Cairo.

She was a member of Urbandale Community Chapel in Urbandale and she retired from Burkhart Foam Manufacturing in Cairo.

She is survived by three daughters, Sheila Hoover of Clinton, Ky., Janice Gail Powell of Bardwell, Ky., and Sharmin O’Connor of Paris, Tenn.; two sisters, Emma Jean Parham of Urbandale and Annie Lane of Niles, Mich.; one brother, Denver Lang of Urbandale, and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Conroy. Her parents were Most and Lena May McClure Lang.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Urbandale Community Chapel with the Rev. Lee Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel.

Barkett Funeral Home of Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
