VIENNA, Ill. — Charles M. Craig, 85, of Vienna, Ill., died at 12:27 p.m. Wednesday at the home of his daughter.
He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a farmer and had previously worked at Southern Illinois Stone Quarry at Buncombe and at the Vienna Nursery.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Richard Craig of Vienna and John Arlen Craig of Tunnel Hill; three daughters, Belinda Alice Halvorsen of the Pond community, Mary Charlene Raquet of Vienna and Tammy Elaine Mahan of Marion; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Paul Craig of Puyallup, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Campbell Craig; two sons, Wesley Craig and Chesley Craig; a grandson; two brothers; and two sisters. His parents were Ted and Sarah E. (Martin) Craig.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Donald Campbell will officiate. Burial will be in Simpson Cemetery near Buncombe. Military rites will be held. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
