FULTON — Ora Mae Brown, 81, of Fulton died Tuesday at Western Baptist Hospital.

She formerly worked as a housekeeper for Parkway Regional Hospital, Haws Memorial Nursing Home, and First Baptist Church, all in Fulton. She was of the Protestant faith.

She is survived by two sons, Tim Brown of Fulton and Dale Brown of El Paso, Texas.; a daughter, Rita Dowes of Grand Rapids, Mich.; three sisters, Marilyn Sue Noonan of Fulton, Sarah McClure of Mayfield, and Inez Johnson of St. Louis; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Brown Jr.; a son, Desmond Brown, and two brothers. Her parents were Herman and Olivia (Garmon) Morris

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlea Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Monday at the funeral home.
