UNION CITY, Tenn. — Dennis Neil Lightner, 37, of Union City died Monday at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

He was a member of Jacksonville Free Will Baptist Church, a student at Dyersburg State Community College, and former employee of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

He is survived by his wife, Misty Dawn Baker Lightner; two daughters, Brooklyn Cobb and Kaylee Perkins; and one son, Kaleb Perkins, all of Union City; his parents, Felicia Hicks Lightner and Lowell Thomas Lightner Jr., of South Fulton; two sisters, Leah Webb of Newbern and Pamela Hickman of South Fulton; two brothers, Desmond Coble of Union City and Demetrice Patterson of Ypsilanti, Mich.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Jacksonville Free Will Baptist Church in South Fulton, with interment to follow in Greenlea Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel.
