BENTON — Christina L. “Chris” Myers, 51, of Benton died Saturday at her home.

She was a retired licensed practical nurse for Marshall County Hospital Long Term Care Unit. She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Curt Myers; her father, Patrick “Pat” Murphy of Alton, Ill.; three daughters, Betsy Gansner, Shannon Gansner and Michaela Myers, all of Benton; one brother, Stephen Murphy of St. Louis; and two sisters, Cathleen “Cathy” Easley of Greenway, Ark., and Theresa “Teri” DeLuca of Cantonment, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Gaye Huch.

Services will be 5 p.m. Wednesday at Collier Funeral Chapel in Benton with the Rev. Jason Sharp officiating.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
