KUTTAWA — Robert W. Doom, 84, of Kuttawa died at 7:34 a.m. Friday at Christian Care Center of Kuttawa.

He was a retired farmer in Lyon County and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He is survived by one sister, Lawanda Stephenson of Columbia, Tenn.; one nephew, Doug Stephenson of Hawaii; and one niece, Kay Haywood of Columbia, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louella Cox Doom. His parents were Mahon and Nellie Yates Doom. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville with the Rev. Brian Griggs officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
