Rickie (Cigar) Rives, 80, of Paducah, died at 11:25 p.m. Saturday at Lourdes hospital.

He attended Destiny Worship Center.

Surviving are his two daughters, Diane Edwards and Lori Burden, both of Paducah; three sons, Roger Rives of Symsonia, Doug Rives of Paducah and Rodney Rives of Calvert City; one brother, Randal Rives of Paducah; a sister, Chloris JoAnn Hancock of Brentwood, Tenn; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Effie Mae (Tootie) Rives. His parents were James Conley Rives and Loretta Brown Rives.

Service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Leland Hayden officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
