PRINCETON — Sara Lee Aikins, 87, of Princeton died Friday at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

She was owner of Denham’s Jewelry and a member of Ogden Memorial United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Paxton of Princeton and Kelly Rowland of Caldwell County; two sons, Craig Aikins of Caldwell County and Matthew Aikins of Benton; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one brother, Louard Overbey of Greenville; and one sister, Betty Forgy of Princeton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Rueben Aikins; one son, Anthony Luke Aikins; and one great-grandson. Her parents were Guy Kelly and Topsy Wyatt Overbey.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
