MURRAY — Dora Ann Jones, 90, of Murray died Thursday at her daughter’s home in Gilbertsville.

She retired from Seger Glove Company after 22 years. She was a member of Dexter Pentecostal Church and the Eastern Star Murray Lodge.

She is survived by four daughters, Brenda K. Joyce of Mesquite, Texas, Izetta Eldridge of Murray, Loretta McDermott of Paducah, and Cathy Steward of Gilbertsville; two sons, Ned Jones of Hazel and Delmer Jones of Murray; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Jones; one daughter, Ann LaVerne Jones; two sons, Bert Jones and Alton Jones; three sisters; one brother; two half brothers, Kelsey Travis and Lee Travis; and one grandson. Her parents were Thomas M. Travis and Florence L. Jones Travis.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with the Rev. Elijah Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in Matheny Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
