PRINCETON — Elinor Pekarek, 93, of Princeton died Tuesday at her home.

She was a retired substitute teacher and a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons, Edward Pekarek Jr. of Willow Spring, N.C., and Thomas Pekarek of North Olmsted, Ohio; one daughter, Elizabeth Pekarek of Pittsboro, N.C.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward George Pekarek, and one daughter, Kathleen Spiewak.

Her parents were Paul John and Olive H. O’Brien McGervey.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Shaiju Thoms officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
