BROOKPORT, Ill. — Valerie Woolever Koerner, 61, of Brookport died at 3:21 a.m. Sunday at Lourdes hospital.

She was a retired registered nurse.

She is survived by a daughter, Brooksie Beard of Brookport; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Vera Phelps of Richview, Ill.; and three brothers, Kevin Woolever of Richview, Brett Woolever of Louisa, Ky., and Vaughn Anderson of Wayne City.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tasha Cole; and a brother.

Her parents were Howard and Cletia Frazier Woolever.

There be no services or visitation.
