Mr. and Mrs. Albert Leidecker of Paducah celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise reception hosted by their family on Nov. 17 at Bellview Baptist Church.

Mr. Leidecker and the former Shirley Lane were married Nov. 23, 1962, by the Rev. L.W. Carlin at Bellview Baptist Church in Paducah. Their attendants were Leon Lawrence and Paulette Byrd Ellington.

Mrs. Leidecker is a retired hairdresser. She is the daughter of Myrtle Lane of Paducah and the late Harry Lane.

Mr. Leidecker is retired from VMV Paducahbilt. He is the son of the late John and Thelma Leidecker.

They have two sons, Barry Leidecker and Danny Leidecker, both of Paducah; and three granddaughters.
