MAYFIELD — Albert Louis Toon, 83, of Fancy Farm died at 8:02 a.m. Friday at Green Acres Health Care in Mayfield.
Mr. Toon was a retired farmer and a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm and the Knights of Columbus Council 1418. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Wilson Toon; two sons, Richard Toon and William Toon, both of Fancy Farm; three daughters, Janet Lee and Debbie Chapman, both of Hickory, and Karen Toon of Fancy Farm; one brother, Bernard Toon of Fancy Farm; one sister Ann Willett of Fancy Farm; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest B. and Mary Ann Weitlauf Toon; three brothers; and two sisters.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm with Father Darrell Venters officiating. Burial will be in the St. Jerome Church Cemetery with graveside military rites. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Sunday at St. Jerome Catholic Church, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m.
