LEDBETTER — Robert “Pete” Spann, 56, of Ledbetter passed away at 3:25 a.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012, at his residence.
Pete was a Teamster at Olmsted Lock and Dam, and a proud member of Teamsters Local 236. He was an avid biker, and will be lovingly remembered as a very generous person.
Surviving are his wife, Debbie Spann; his mother, Esther “Boots” Stokes; two sons, Tony (Annette) English of Ledbetter, and Rick (Hannah) Montgomery of Evansville, Ind.; two brothers, Randell Conner of Ledbetter and J.B. Conner of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Spann.
Memorial services will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday at Lindsey Funeral Home, with Rick Montgomery officiating.
Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bikers Annual Toy Run, 4965 Lovelaceville Road, Paducah, KY 42001.
