MAYFIELD — Michael Gary Adams, 60, of Mayfield died at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday at his home.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam, and retired from the military.

He is survived by one son, Eric Adams of Mayfield; one stepdaughter, Rachael Adkison of Boaz; one sister, Pam Shay of McKinney, Texas; his mother, Frances Odom of Lone Oak; one grandchild; and three stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Micki Adams; and his father, Bill Adams.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home. Burial with military rites will follow in  Mayfield Memory Gardens. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
