Matha Wright, 82, of Paducah, Ky., passed away at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at the Superior Care Home of Paducah.

Matha was born in Paducah, Ky., and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Gospel Mission Worship Center.

Matha is survived by her son, Rick Wright and wife Roxanne of Benton, Ky.; grandchildren, J.R. Reynolds and wife Laura, Dustin Wright, Laura Butler and husband Boogie, Brandon Eaves, and Leanne Wright; great-grandchildren, Isaac Reynolds, Emma-Leigh Reynolds, Isabell Wright, and Macy Butler; and a daughter-in-law, Regina Wright Vaughn of Paducah, Ky.

Matha was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Wright; her second husband, Roy Brooks; and a son, Randy Wright. Her parents were Burnice E. Phillips and Ella McQuigg Phillips.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Ryan “Boogie” Butler and the Rev. Jim Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Marshall County Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2012, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
