ELIZABETHTOWN — Marvin Presley Thomas, 96, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Paducah, died Thursday at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He was retired from Ford Motor Company and was a member of Woodmen of the World.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Emma Amis Thomas; two daughters, Linda Bolte of Lexington and Mary Lou Weyler of Elizabeth, Ind.; two sons, Ron Thomas of Brandenburg and Danny Thomas of Louisville; one brother, Ford Thomas of Naples, Fla; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters. His parents were Albert Carnell and Lillie Mae Kimbro Thomas.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Leland Hayden officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Kenton Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
