METROPOLIS, Ill. — Carole S. Buhrman, 78, of Metropolis died at 12:02 p.m. Thursday at Massac Memorial Hospital.

Friends may call after noon Sunday at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Don LaBrot officiating. Burial will follow at Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

She was retired from Western Baptist Hospital and attended Lighthouse Assembly of God in Metropolis.

She is survived by one daughter, Geni Whitehair of Hopkinsville, Ky.; one son, Duane Buhrman of Metropolis; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Billie Bentson and Willa Rae Jacobs, both of Metropolis, and one brother, Bob Grace of Murray, Ky.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Her parents were Floyd and Myrtle Grace.
