MURRAY — Martha Nelle Scruggs, 88, of Murray died Tuesday at Spring Creek Health Care.

She was a member of Hazel United Methodist Church, and retired from West Kentucky Rural Electric.

She is survived by one daughter, Toni Jones of Hazel; one son, Tim Scruggs of Hazel; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Chesley Scruggs; and four sisters. Her parents were Charlie and Bessie Charlton Myers.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, with the Revs. Dan Leslie and Jim Stahler officiating.

Burial will follow in South Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
