HICKMAN — Billy Newcomb, 55, of Hickman died Monday at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton.

He was a member of Sassafras Ridge Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Morgan Newcomb of Hickman; two brothers, Ricky Newcomb of Hickman, and Barney Newcomb of Union City, Tenn.; and two sisters, Sherry Chessor of Hickman, and Karen Mullins of Union City, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. His parents were Mitchell and Martha Newcomb.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sassafras Ridge Baptist church with the Rev. Charles Southerland officiating.

Strong Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
