CALVERT CITY — Horst O. Abramowski, 72, of Calvert City, died at 12:31 p.m. Tuesday at Lourdes hospital.

He was a retired research chemist. He was of the Lutheran Evangelical faith.

He is survived by one son, David Abramowski of Matthews, N.C.; two sisters, Trudy Miatkowski and Erna Blanton, both of Reidland; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Greer Abramowski. His parents were Otto and Marie Abramowski.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
