MARION — Shirley Jean Conrad, 79, of Marion died Saturday at Crittenden Health Systems.

She was a member of Marion Baptist Church and had worked as a secretary at the Kentucky State Penitentiary in Eddyville.

She is survived by one daughter, Laura Conrad of Marion; one sister, Margaret Mulloy of Lexington; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Conrad, and two daughters; her parents were Tommy and Bertie Lindsey Turner.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Myers Funeral Home of Marion, with burial in Mapleview Cemetery.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
