James Lyn “Jamie” Holder, 31, of Bardwell, died Tuesday in Bardwell.

He was a lead deckhand on a riverboat. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Kayla Maupin Holder of Water Valley; his mother, Brenda Kay Holder Morgan of Bardwell; two sisters, Kimberly Patterson of Bardwell and Megan Hauger of Arlington; and two stepsisters, Marla Puckett of Arlington and Gina Russelburg of Bardwell.

There will be a private memorial service at a later date.

Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell is in charge of arrangements.
