MAYFIELD — Services for Elbert Fulcher Jr., 89, of Mayfield will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Revs. Dwain Warren, Junior Wallace and Bo Marley officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery, with military rites conducted.

Mr. Fulcher died at noon Tuesday at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.

An Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Fulcher was a member of Mayfield Holiness Church and was a retired partner of Fulcher’s Pest Control.

Mr. Fulcher is survived by his wife, Bennie Estelle Blalock Fulcher; one daughter, Joyce Hutchens of Farmington; four sons, David Fulcher, Terrell Fulcher and Mark Fulcher, all of Mayfield, and Gary Fulcher of Farmington; one brother, Marvin Earl Fulcher of Mayfield; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.

His parents were Elbert Fulcher Sr. and Lillie Speed Fulcher.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
