KEVIL — George R. Wolfingbarger, age 74, of Kevil died Saturday at 2:29 p.m. at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
George was employed by TVT Towing in Paducah. He was a Marine Veteran and he attended Maxon Christian Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor Ann Wolfingbarger of Kevil; five sons, Joseph Wolfingbarger of Marion, Ohio, George Robert Wolfingbarger and wife Dawn of Marion, Ohio, Richard Wolfingbarger, Terry Van Meter of St. Louis, Mo., and Richard VanMeter and wife Denise of Kevil; two daughters, Cheryl Clark and husband Gary of St. Louis, Mo., and Debra McGraw and husband Jon of Cadiz, Ky.; twenty grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren; three brothers, William Wolfingbarger and wife Mae of Hillsboro, Ohio, Richard Wolfingbarger and wife Brenda of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Fred Wolfingbarger and wife Irma of Palm Beach, Florida; four sisters, Mary Leonard of Hillsboro, Ohio, Freda Wolfingbarger of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Judith Scott of Bainbridge, Ohio, and Loretta Ladd and husband Tom of Rainsboro, Ohio.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret Thomas Wolfingbarger; two sisters, Leatrice Gibbs and Geneve Stevens; two nieces, Judy Gale Leonard and Kathy Gibbbs.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center with the Rev. Brother Billy Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday after 5:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center.
