MURRAY — Rhoda Nell Herndon Straight, 88, of Murray died Monday at Spring Creek Health Care.

She was a member of Temple Hill United Methodist Church, and retired from Sager Glove.

She is survived by one daughter, Nannie Turner of Murray; one son, Jimmy Lee Herndon of Murray, one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Straight, and one grandson. Her parents were Clyde and Jessie Mahan Lee.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with the Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating, and burial will follow in Temple Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
