Norma Bearden, 78, of Paducah died Monday at her home.

She was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired manager of the V.F.W. and worked for Bright’s department store.

She is survived by her husband, Wendell Bearden; two sons, Terry Collier of Springfield, Mo., and Mark Bearden of Paducah; one brother, Charles Cole of Paducah; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers; one sister; and one son, Chris Bearden. Her parents were Lavern Cole and Lovia Leona “Wilson” Cole.

Services will be at noon Thursday at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
