William “Bill” W. Spinks, 68, of Paducah, died Saturday at his home.

He was a riverboat pilot for Ingram Barge Line.

He was a member of American Legion Post 31, Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 1191 and River City Eagles # 3686.

He is survived by his daughter, Ranee Voyles of Tennessee; one son, Jason Spinks of Sturgis; one brother, Ray Spinks of Texas; and a sister, Ann Palmer of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his son, George Wayne Spinks.

There will be no services.
