CUNNINGHAM — Alvin Roy Sheffield, 88, of Cunningham died at 6 p.m. Friday at his home.
He was a member Emmanuel Holiness Church in Bardwell and a self-employed carpenter and contractor.
He is survived by four daughters, Carmen Cunningham of Bardwell, Ginger Burnett of Melber, Kaye Futral of Smithland, and Jeanette Burnett of Melber; one sister, Gladys Reis of Mayfield; one brother, Eston Sheffield of Cunningham; 19 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Sheffield; two granddaughters; and three sisters.
His parents were Virgil and Gracie Walters Sheffield.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Paducah Holiness Church with Revs. G.W. Birdsong, T.L. Futral, and Jim Parkerson officiating.
Burial will follow in “Glorybarn” Bethel Holiness Church Cemetery.
