SYMSONIA — Mr. and Mrs. Larry Don Howard of Symsonia will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Mr. Howard and the former Connie Guill were married Oct. 12, 1962, by the Rev. Harold Council at Southland Baptist Temple in Paducah. Their attendants were Doris Ward Thompson and Billy Thompson.

Mrs. Howard is retired from Airgas. She is the daughter of the late Helen and Charles Guill.

Mr. Howard is retired from Airgas and is a part-time employee of Phelps Farm Service. He is the son of the late Edward and Nell Howard.

They have two children: Lisa Jenkins of Symsonia and Joel Howard of Mayfield; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
