MURRAY — W.A. “Dub” Cunningham, 90, of Murray died Friday at Western Baptist Hospital.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He founded Cunningham Auto Repair and worked as an automotive mechanic. He was a member of Martin’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Brenda Nix and Vickie Herndon, both of Murray; three sons, Larry Cunningham, Randy Cunningham, and Ricky Cunningham, all of Murray; one brother, Guy Cunningham of Murray; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Cunningham; two sisters; and two brothers; his parents were Albert and Ruth Collie Cunningham.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with the Revs. Eugene Burkeen and Glenn Hill officiating. Burial will be in Murray Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
