JACKSON, Tenn. — Mrs. Nancy Jayne “Janie” Kitchin, age 68, of Jackson, Tenn., formerly of South Fulton Tenn., died Monday, October 8, 2012, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was a member of the Parkway Church of Christ. She attended the University of Tenn. at Martin and was a graduate of the Ky. School of Banking in Lexington, Ky.
She was an assistant cashier for the former City National Bank in Fulton, Ky., and then worked as the head cashier at the Community Bank in Metropolis, Ill. She was also a commissioned Ky. Colonel and had lived most of her life in this area.
She is survived by her husband, whom she married December 4, 1973, Gary Kitchin of Jackson, Tenn.; two sons, Bart (Shelley) Williams of Milan, Tenn., Keith (Meredith) Thomas Kitchin of Jacksonville, Ark.; a daughter, Wendy Chan Williams of Jackson, Tenn.; and a stepdaughter, Shannon (Daniel) Kitchin Davis of Shelby, N.C.; ten grandchildren, Brandy (Steven) Wright of South Fulton, Tenn., Keith Dalton Kitchin of Jacksonville, Ark., Madalyn “Southards” Kitchin of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Caitlin Emerson of Mississippi, Bennen Kitchin of Little Rock, Ark., Penelope Alice Jane Kitchin of Little Rock, Ark., Ella Williams of Jackson, Tenn., Rickman, Catie and Ashley Davis, all of Shelby, N.C.; four great-grandchildren, Allison and Aiden Wright of South Fulton, Tenn., Landon and Josh McKnight of South Fulton; four brothers, Doug Taylor of Bartlett, Tenn., Terry, Tony and Steve Taylor, all of South Fulton, Tenn.
Preceded in death by her parents, William F. and Alice Elena (Tuck) Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Parkway Church of Christ in Fulton, Ky. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Weakley County, Tenn.
Friends may call at the church after 12 p.m. Saturday until the service hour. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
