KARNAK, Ill. — Michael Ehrstein, 92, of Northfield at Menno Haven, Pa., died at 12:10 a.m. Aug. 12 at Menno Haven Nursing Center.

He served in the Army in World War II as a medic. He and his wife owned and operated a paint store in Los Angeles for many years.

He is survived by one daughter, Mary J. Ehrstein of Ellicott, Md.; several nieces; nephews; and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; one daughter; one sister; and three brothers; his parents were Michael and Flora Ehrstein.

Graveside services with military rites will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Masonic Cemetery in Grand Chain with the Rev. Alan Milligan officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak is in charge of arrangements.
