Sarah Ellen Mayolo of Barlow and Michael Ryan Bailey of Stanford announce their engagement.

Miss Mayolo is the daughter of Vikki Barnes of Lexington and Michael Mayolo of Barlow. She is the granddaughter of Sil and Rita Mayolo of Wickliffe, Ashley Mattingly of Lexington and the late Cliff Mattingly. She is a 2010 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. She is employed as a chemist at Parker Hannifin Corp. in Lexington.

Mr. Bailey is the son of Bruce and Linda Bailey of Stanford. He is the grandson of Paul and Elizabeth Deshon of Stanford, and Betsy Bailey of Stanford and the late Jack Bailey. He is a 2012 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. He is employed at Shadwell Farms in Lexington.

An October wedding is planned at Cardome Center in Georgetown.
