Glen and Gina Dunkerson of Kevil announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Dunkerson, to Jeremiah Don Russell, son of Linda and Jimmy Thomas of Fort Worth, Texas, and Donald and Amy Russell of Claremont, N.C.

Miss Dunkerson is the granddaughter of G.V. Dunkerson Sr. of Kevil, the late George Athenas and the late Glenda Taylor. She is a 2007 graduate of Stevens High School in Claremont, N.H., and a 2012 graduate of Daymar College’s medical massage therapy program. She is employed at Burke’s Outlet in Paducah.

Mr. Russell is the grandson of Joann Ferguson of Cleburne, Texas, and the late Bobby Ray Henson, and Betty Cook of Cleburne, Texas, and the late David Russell. He is a 2003 graduate of Cleburne High School in Cleburne, Texas, and is employed by McNational Inc. in Paducah.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 1 p.m. Oct. 20 at La Center First Baptist Church in La Center. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations are being sent.
