Marty and Deborah Ivy of Mayfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Marie Ivy, to Kyle Matthew Kendall, son of Ruthie Wilferd of Farmington and the late Bobby Wilferd, and Ned and Janice Kendall of Mayfield.

Miss Ivy is the granddaughter of James and Mary Lou Vaughan of Sedalia, and Robert and Janie Ivy of Mayfield. She is the great-granddaughter of Freda Smith of Mayfield. Miss Ivy is a 2005 graduate of Graves County High School in Mayfield and a 2007 graduate of West Kentucky Community & Technical College. She is a licensed practical nurse employed by Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

Mr. Kendall is the grandson of Gerald Kerns of Mayfield and the late Opal Webb, and Betty Kendall of Mayfield and the late John William Kendall. He is a 2005 graduate of Graves County High School in Mayfield and a 2007 graduate of West Kentucky Community & Technical College. He is a paramedic employed by the City of Mayfield Fire Department.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 5 p.m. Oct. 13 at the home of Ned and Janice Kendall, 2747 Golo Road, Mayfield. All friends and relatives are invited.
