MAYFIELD — James Aubrey Wyatt, 86, of Mayfield died Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Southgate Nursing Home in Metropolis, Ill.
He was a member and deacon of Sharon Baptist Church; a retired bus driver for Mayfield City Schools; the retired owner-operator of Sellars & Wyatt TV, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Wyatt is survived by his daughter, Debbie Bushart of Benton, Ky.; his son, Glenn (Rachael) Wyatt of Mayfield; two sisters, Suzie Sellars and Louise Clark, both of Mayfield; three grandchildren, Whitney Bushart Winemiller of Benton, Ill., Blaire Bushart of Benton, Ky., and Logan Wyatt of Dawson Springs; and one great-grandchild, Maysen Winemiller of Benton, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Wyatt; parents, Aub and Mary Martain Wyatt; and his sister, Katie Calhoun.
Services for James Aubrey Wyatt will be at Sharon Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012, officiated by the Revs. Kenneth Newsome and Tony Adams. Interment will follow in the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Deacons of Sharon Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on the family Wednesday, September 26, 2012, between the hours of 6-8 p.m. at Byrn Funeral Home.
