Margaret D. Thompson, 71, of Paducah passed away at 2:30 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2012, at Lourdes hospital.

Mrs. Thompson was a native of Paducah.

She was a member of the Southland Baptist Temple and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles # 3135.

She was an employee of the southside Hardee’s restaurant.

She leaves behind her husband, Richard Thompson; her daughter, Teresa Jewell of Paducah, and her son, Terry Thompson and wife Kelley of Paducah; one sister, Ruby Hurt of Maine; two grandchildren, Brandon Spencer and wife Ruth of Okla. and Jeremy Spencer of Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee H. Pace and Celia Mathney Pace.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Keeling Family Funeral Home.

Rev. Topper Council officiating.

Burial will follow in Hardmoney Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to: the Building Fund of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3135, 2614 Bridge Street, Paducah, Ky. 42003.

Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
