Louella Rose Smith, 96, of Paducah, passed away at 4:50 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Calvert City Convalescent Center.
She was a member of Gospel Mission Worship Center. She was a former employee of Uncle Lee’s Department Store and G&O Pharmacy, and managed a motel in Gulfport, Miss.
Surviving are one brother, Eugene (Ruby) Hurley of Calvert City; five nephews, and three nieces. She also had nieces in her second husband’s family who were very special to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Smith; one sister; four brothers; two nephews, and two nieces. Her parents were Albert and Maggie Hurley.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Cemetery with Bro. Buddy Duke officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Roth Funeral Chapel.
