MAYFIELD — John Thomas May, 27, of Mayfield died at 4:19 a.m. Monday at his home.

He was a self-employed electrician.

Mr. May is survived by his wife, Jessi Hargrove May; two stepdaughters, Katja Ham and Isabella Ham, both of Mayfield; his parents, Darrell Flowers and Juanita May of Mayfield; one brother, Joshua May of St. Louis; three sisters, Sara Woods of Bolivar, Mo., Melinda Vinton of St. Louis and Melissa Reeves of Mayfield; his grandfather, Charlie Flowers of Chattanooga, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Sally Dickens, and grandmother, Lillie Flowers.

Memorial services will be conducted later. Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
