FARMINGTON — Charles William Turner, 72, of Farmington died Thursday at his home.

He was a retired employee of Mayfield Electric and Water Systems, a member of the Remnant Church, and member of the IBEW Local 816.

Mr. Turner is survived by six daughters, Melissa Warren of Lynnville, Marilee Johnson of Paducah, Tane Toon, Sebrenna Orgeron, Lou Ann Carter, and Johnna Travis, all of Mayfield; one stepson, Zach Prince of Hickory; one brother, Quinton Louis Turner of Columbia Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vernola Lynn Turner; and two brothers. His parents were Quinton and Louise McCormack Turner.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
