MAYFIELD — Walter Roger Sawisch, 76, of Mayfield died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Mills Health and Rehabilitation Facility.

He was of the Presbyterian faith, and a retired maintenance manager.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Lee Sawisch; one son, John Sawisch of Fulton; two daughters, Karen Sullivan and Julianne Smith, both of Wingo; two sisters, Grace Meckes of Lombard, Ill., and Marion Wade of Hillside, Ill.; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rosalie Sawisch. His parents were Walter R. and Frances Tyk Sawisch.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wingo Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David Gargus officiating. Friends may call after noon Saturday at the church.
