PRINCETON — Joseph H. Moore, 90, of Princeton, formerly of Cadiz, died at 9:03 p.m. Sunday at his home.

He was a retired electrician for Fort Knox Civil Service and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II, the South Pacific, and was a Purple Heart recipient.

He was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife, Elefreda Moore; two daughters, Adelia Ann Meadows of Elizabethtown and Jane Davis of Madison, Ala.; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. His parents were Alvin J. and Nellie Moore.

Services will be at noon Thursday at King’s Funeral Home with the Revs. John Mitchell and Lloyd Tucker officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens with military rites.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to any charity.
