POSSUM TROT — Mrs. Bettie Peck, age 88, of the Possum Trot Community, died Friday, September 7, 2012, at Southgate Health Care in Metropolis, Ill. She was a member of Vaughn’s chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She was the daughter of the late Captain Birchel “C.B.” and Ula Story Barrett.

She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Carper of Paducah, Ky; two grandchildren, Kelly Carper Brown of Gilbert, Ariz. and Kevin Carper of Paducah, Ky; one Great-Grandchild, Kailey Carper of Paducah, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Peck; two sons, Rickie Joe and Anthony “Tony” Peck; two sisters, Katheleen Devine and Ilene Tuttas; and four brothers, Franklin, Halstead, Alton, and Jamie Barrett.

Graveside Funeral service will be at Leonard Cemetery at 12 p.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2012, with Rev. Wendell Ordway and Rev. Jewell Barrett officiating.

Interment will be at Leonard Cemetery, Calvert City, Ky.

Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, Ky.
